Setting Up a Custom How it Works Page on Your Store

Incorporating a dedicated page for the service on your site helps clarify how the service works, reassures customers about the process, and enhances the overall user experience. 

It is important to ensure customers have all the necessary information at their fingertips, reducing confusion and improving conversion rates. 

Home Try-on Page


Step 1: Create a New Page

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Navigate to Online Store > Pages.
  3. Click on Add page.
  4. Enter "Try with Mirra" as the page title & Save.

Step 2: Design the Page Using the Theme Editor

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
  2. Use the top bar to navigate to Pages > Create template. Name it Try with Mirra and Save.
  3. We recommend using our template below to create your information page. Use Shopify's drag-and-drop app blocks to rearrange sections and customise the layout to fit your brand’s style.

Step 3: Assign the Template to the New Page

  1. Return to the Page you created in the page editor. Look for the Theme template selector on the right-hand side.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select Try with Mirra and Save.

Step 4: Add the Page to Your Navigation Menu

  1. Navigate to Online Store > Navigation.
  2. Select the menu where you want to include the new page. We recommend adding it to your top navigation. 
  3. Click Add menu item, name it appropriately (e.g., Try Before You Buy, Home Try-On), and link it to your newly created "Try with Mirra" page.
  4. Click Add and then Save Menu.

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Try with Mirra.

It is very important to us that you can confidently find the perfect fit and style when shopping with us online.

Now, you can try our products before you buy, completely risk-free!


How Does it Work?

  1. Add to Cart: Use the Try Before You Buy button when adding items to your cart.
  2. Checkout & Payment Hold: We temporarily freeze the full amount on your card to reserve your items. It will show as pending in your account, but not paid. You won’t be charged until you decide to keep the items.
  3. Try at Home: Once your order arrives, you will have [4] days to try on the items.
  4. Complete Order: We'll send access to your Customer Portal where you can follow the steps to finalise your order. You'll only be charged for the items you decide to keep.

Returns

[Option 1]: If you need to return anything, we'll send you a prepaid return label by email when we receive your return request.

[Option 2]: We will include a prepaid return label in your parcel. Complete the order and request the return in the Customer Portal before posting back to us.

[Option 3]: If you need to return anything, we'll send you a prepaid return label to download.

Return Guidelines:

  • Returns must be posted within 3 days of completing the order.
  • If you return all items from the order, a $10 restocking fee will be applied.

  • Can I use a discount code?
    Yes, you can use a discount code, but it must be applied at the time of the initial order. Enter your discount code at checkout before completing your order details. The discount will be reflected in the final amount you pay for any items you decide to keep.
  • How does the authorization process work?
    When you use the TBYB service, you will be asked to provide payment details at checkout. We will then authorize your credit card for the order amount to ensure the payment method is valid. This is not a charge, and no funds will be taken from your account at this stage. The authorization simply holds the potential total cost of the order until you decide which items you want to keep. The charge will appear as pending in your account, but not paid.
  • When will I be charged for my order?
    You will only be charged for the items you choose to keep after finalising your order through the Customer Portal.
  • What is the Restocking Fee?
    The Restocking fee is a $10 charge that applies only if you decide to return all items from your order. This fee covers the cost of the service, including shipping, handling, and processing of returns. It is only charged if no items from the order are kept. This fee ensures that we can continue to offer our customers the flexibility to try products at home before committing to a purchase.
  • Where is this service available?
    Please note this service is currently only available in Australia and for our full priced items (no sale).
  • How do complete my order?

    Try Before You Buy orders must be completed in the Try with Mirra Customer Portal. You will be able to confirm which items you wish to purchase, and request a return if needed.
