Importing Orders into Starshipit

Option 1: Import All Orders

A straightforward setting for those who can import all orders from Shopify without restricting unpaid orders.

• Step 1: Access the Integration Settings

  • Log into your Starshipit account.
  • Navigate to Integrations > Shopify > Settings.

• Step 2: Adjust the Status to Import

  • In the 'Settings' tab, look for the Status to Import section.
  • Change the status from the default setting to either "Open" or "Any". This will allow the import of orders that are not fully paid or are still pending.

• Step 3: Save Your Changes

  • After adjusting the settings, ensure to save your changes to apply the new configurations.

Option 2: Import TBYB Unpaid Orders Only & Automate Return Label Generation

For those who prefer to import only "paid" orders from Shopify, a specific integration in Starshipit is required to selectively manage these orders.

Setup Instructions:

1. Obtain API and Subscription Keys:

   • Access your account settings within Starshipit to retrieve your API and Subscription keys. These keys are essential for integrating and configuring your settings accurately. Please provide these to support@trywithmirra.com. 

2. Configure Import Rules:

   • Navigate to the rules settings by visiting Starshipit Rules Settings.

   • Set up the following rule to control the importation of orders:

     WHERE	CONDITION	VALUE	ACTION	VALUE
     Integration	Equals	Shopify
     AND Tags	Is	Try with Mirra	Import Order	false

     This configuration ensures that only paid orders tagged as "Try with Mirra" are imported into Starshipit. It prevents automatic importation based on payment status and tags.

3. Configure Shopify Integration Settings:

   • Enable the "Import tags from Shopify" feature within the advanced Shopify integration settings. This setting is crucial for the tags to be recognized and processed by Starshipit. Access this setting at Starshipit Advanced Settings.

Functionality Provided by Integration:

• Order Management: Imports "Try with Mirra" orders based on their payment status.
• Fulfillment Updates: Updates order fulfillment status in Shopify when orders are fulfilled in Starshipit, ensuring synchronization between the two platforms.
• Return Management: Enables customers to automatically create return labels directly from their customer portal, enhancing the return process.
• Return Order Creation: Automatically creates return orders in Starshipit when a return label is requested, streamlining the returns and refunds process.
