Integrating with Other Returns Portals

Integrating alongside your other Return Portals

Many brands use third-party returns platforms such as Loop, ReturnGo, or similar to manage their standard return workflows. The Try with Mirra platform includes its own dedicated Returns Portal, designed to handle the unique flow and requirements of Try Before You Buy (TBYB) orders.

This means you can confidently run both systems in parallel - using your regular portal for standard orders and Mirra’s portal for TBYB.

Compatibility with Other Returns Portals

  • Simultaneous Use
You can continue using their existing returns portal for non-TBYB orders while using Try with Mirra’s portal for TBYB returns, there is no conflict.

  • Dedicated TBYB Portal
Our platform is specifically optimised for TBYB workflows, including return requests, exchanges, and payment authorisation tracking. It gives customers a smooth experience while supporting your operational requirements.

Why Use the Mirra Returns Portal for TBYB Orders?

  • Tailored Experience
Our portal is built for how TBYB works, giving customers clear steps to finalise or return items based on what they’ve tried.

  • Operational Clarity
Segregating standard and TBYB returns reduces confusion and avoids errors in providing refunds and store credits where the original has not been captured.

Important Action: Add a Rule to Auto-Reject TBYB Returns

To avoid confusion, we highly recommend adding a rule to your returns platform (e.g. Loop, ReturnGo) to not automatically accept any return requests on orders that include the order tag Try with Mirra.

  • This prevents customers from initiating a return in the wrong place.

  • You can customise the rejection message with:

“This order was placed using Try Before You Buy. Please complete your order or request a return through the Try with Mirra Customer Portal. You’ll find your link in your order confirmation email or SMS.”

This ensures customers are guided to the correct flow, avoiding delays or double-handling.

Integration Steps Summary

  • Continue using your main returns portal for regular, paid orders.

  • Use Try with Mirra for all TBYB orders (automatically tagged in Shopify).

  • Add a reject rule in your returns portal for orders tagged Try with Mirra.

  • Link customers to the Mirra Customer Portal in order confirmations or your FAQ/help pages.
